About Paddy's
Paddy's Dog Rescue was founded in April 2025 as a response to the escalating animal welfare crisis in the UK.
Our founder began by privately rescuing dogs from dire situations and securing them placement in established rescues.
However, when faced with multiple dogs in urgent need, she contacted over 100 official rescues – and every single one was at capacity. And so Paddy's was born.
Rescue has never been so overwhelmed. Healthy, adoptable dogs are being euthanised in UK pounds every day because there is simply nowhere for them to go and staff have to make space for the next influx of dogs.
We can't save every dog, but we will try to save every dog we can.
